The Diversity of Me; Keeping It Real

Uschi - a counsellor talking about overcoming your childhood

Episode Summary

Uschi used to be my counsellor. She featured in a bonus episode in series 1 to share her three 'Keeping It Reals' for others to feel more content. Following great feedback from that particular episode, I asked Uschi to join me again with a focus on helping young adults, however, what was discussed is applicable to everyone. We talk about three points from a book called How to Overcome Your Childhood: 1) Attraction to Difficult Partners, 2) Potential traumas behind overachieving 3) The need to strive for an emotional understanding of the past.

It’s a very good read and is available to buy from The School Of Life: https://www.theschooloflife.com/shop/how-to-overcome-your-childhood-book/.

We also refer to a film available on YouTube based on the book called The Secret which discusses the theory of the law of attraction. If you’re interested in watching this you can do so here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfGgUww6uFU&t=3464s
